Denita Crozier

Denita Renee Crozier, age 63, of Akron, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 6, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Renee had a heart of gold and her smile lit up a room. Renee’s influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Renee was a graduate of Buchtel High School and attended the University of Akron. She was employed by Sterling Jewelers of Fairlawn for the past 27 years.  Renee was an avid bowler. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and creating arts and crafts. She loved listening to music and was a very enthusiastic supporter of her husband Rob’s music composition creativity.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Jr. and Willie “Kitty” Collins, grandparents William and Dorelle Salter, Clarence Sr. and Johnnie Mae Collins, and uncle Thomas Salter. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Robert, brother Terrence (Mary) Collins, sister Cheryl (Hogan) Obong, aunt Ann Ford, nieces Michelle (Tim) Smith, Temara Ford, Lauren (Matt) Krella, special friend Sheila (Danny) Solomon, Crozier family, godchildren Daniel and Bridget Solomon, and a host of loving cousins, great nieces, nephews, and many friends.
