Donte Daniels

It is with sadness in our hearts that the family of Donte Lemar Daniels announces his passing on February 10, 2021 at the age of 40.  A lifelong resident of Akron, Donte was born on January 7, 1981 to the proud parents of Denise and Keith Daniels.  He graduated from Firestone High School in 1999.  His love of sports included basketball, football, and especially baseball.  After high school he served in the US Army.

Donte worked at Hess Print Solutions and helped his brother Dallas in his “Lawn Service” business and did so until business slowed because of the pandemic.

Donte was very out-going. He loved playing pool.  He was fun loving and a big jokester always making some silly faces.  Donte was also a sharp dresser.  He treated everyone with kindness and he loved his family dearly.

Donte was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul and Hildred Daniels, John and Elizabeth Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents Denise Allen (John) and Keith Daniels (Marsha); wife MarQuerita Daniels of Huntsville, Alabama; son Armani Anderson of Akron;  brothers Keith Daniels, Dallas Daniels (Emily) and Marquis Daniels of Akron; aunts Johnnie Johnson, Sandra Smith both of Sun City, California, Vickie Abdullah (Omar)of Akron, Angela Ogunda (Kunle) of Pennsylvania, Cheryl Medley of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Freda Kendrick (Richard) of Florida; and uncle Myron  Daniels (Joy) of Indiana. Donte also leaves two nephews, a host of cousins, and many friends.
