Beverly Perkins

Our dearly beloved Beverly “Bev” Perkins departed this life on January 7, 2022 after a short illness. She was born on March 6, 1967 to the late Margaret M. Jenkins and Jake Rice.

Beverly graduated from Garfield High School and also received her Associates Degree from the University of Akron. Beverly was an amazing singer and loved to travel. She was a very outgoing
person who above all else loved her family the most

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alexander “Bud” Perkins, sisters Lorraine Brock, Viola Jacobs both of Akron Ohio, and brother Geno Smith also from Akron, Ohio and mother to
whom she was raised by Mrs. Florence M. Diamond of Akron Ohio.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory Son Troy Perkins, of North Canton, stepdaughter Regina Shelton of Sumter, SC, beautiful granddaughter Brooke Perkins of Akron, Ohio. Sister Darlene “Neicey”
Diamond, brother John “Yummy” Diamond and special niece Porsche Perkins all of Akron Ohio. Special friends Edward and Susan Blackmon and Yvette Ray.
