Cherlonda M. Murray-Green, age 51, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024. She was born on January 2, 1973, and was the beloved wife of Hal Green. Cherlonda was the cherished mother of Reniesha, DeShawn (Porsha), Kiren, and Dontae (Lillian), mothers and father in law Ronnie Pamela and Thearessa, and a devoted sister to Gerlaine “Boo,” Arthur “Lee,” Melvin, and DeWayne. She is also survived by her loving aunts Valerie (Uncle Colon), Clarice, and uncles Melvin and Robert, as well as 8 grandchildren and a host of cousins and brother and sister in laws, all of whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother Karen, father Charles, and grandmother Odessa McGowan.Cherlonda's professional journey was as diverse as it was impactful. She was a compassionate dental assistant, a dedicated Respiratory Therapist, and a proud Registered Nurse. A graduate of the University of Akron, she spent many years in healthcare, helping others with her gentle care and expertise.Outside of her professional life, Cherlonda was a true lover of life. She enjoyed the thrill of the casino and the excitement of bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Family gatherings were always special occasions for Cherlonda, where her warmth, laughter, and love made her the heart of every gathering.Cherlonda's legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she so freely gave. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
