Dennis Dixson

Dennis Alan Dixson, 66, was born to the union of the late Lynelle R. Dixson, Sr. and Frances E. (Jones) Dixson on Feb. 14, 1954. He attended Akron Public Schools and was employed with the City of Akron for 20 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Lynelle R. Dixson, Jr., he is survived by children Alicia Nichole Springfield (Los Angeles, CA), Anthony D. Bable (Akron, OH), Desmond Poteete (Tampa, FL), Chaz L. Dixson (Eugene, OR), Cinnamon Nicole Taylor (Akron, OH), and Diamond Corn Robinson (Columbus, OH); eight grandchildren; sister-in-law Jackie Dixson; special friends Cedric and Michelle Sommerville of Akron, Ex-wife Donna Dixson of Eugene, OR; and Cindy Henderson and the Henderson family of South Carolina.

D.A.D. lived life as HE wanted....on his own terms...."and shit like dat"!

Viewing services ONLY will be held on THURSDAY, January 14, from 12 NOON to 2p. Processional immediately following. Burial at Mt. Peace Cemetery at 3p. 183 Aqueduct St., Akron, OH 44303.
