Edward Forney

Edward Allen Forney (Eddie), passed away peacefully, September 19, 2022. Born in Akron, Ohio on September 16, 1956, to the union of William and Ivaleen Forney.

Eddie graduated from South High School in 1975 and was enlisted into the United States Airforce where he received an honorable discharge as a Sergeant. He was employed and retired from Summa Hospital, Akron, Ohio and was a die hard, Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Ohio State fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ivaleen Vaughn Forney; father, William L. Forney; brother, Ivan L. Forney

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Allen, and Aaron Forney; grandchildren, Keaira, Donaven and Alexa all of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Sandra Warren, Yvonne Mitchell, both of Akron, Ohio and Diane Jarmon of Southfield, MI; brothers, William L. (Mary Ann) Forney, Jr. of Kent, Oh, Duane (Carolyn) Forney of Romulus, Michigan; loving aunt Janie Forney of Chandler, AZ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
