Ellerie Johnson

Ellerie Johnson, 95, of Copley, passed away on January 15, 2021. She was born on June 16, 1925 to the late Raymond and Trellis Weems. She worked as an LPN for 50 years and retired from Manor Care in Barberton after 10 years of service. In her spare time she loved traveling and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Ellerie was preceded in death by her husband, Willie C. Johnson; daughter, Jacqueline Lamar Johnson-Armstead; sisters, Willie Bell Jackson, Mattie Weems, Jin Payne; and brother, Rufus Weems. She leaves to cherish memory, loving children, Loren C. (Betty), Willie T., and Raymond S. (Patricia) Johnson; grandchildren, Vincent L. Armstead, Jasiamen (Will) Hampton, Jacqueline (Cossie) Harvey, Tonya D. (Alonzo) Brazile, Bryan C. (Magdalena) Johnson, and Sean C. Johnson; and a host of great, and great-great grandchildren.
