Gail Perkins a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend departed this life on April 22nd.
Born on July 1,1951 to Dorothy and Clarence Perkins in Akron. Gail was best known for her outgoing and compassionate spirit as well as her natural ability to tell it like it is with a little humor. She was also known as a person who had a big heart and often went above and beyond to help where needed.
A 1969 graduate of South High School (Akron, OH).
She married the love of her life Jim Henry Graham and moved to Illinois in 1971. Where she worked at Abbott Laboratories as a lab technician for 27 years before retiring at 50. Gail went on to acquiring her degree in culinary arts. She enjoyed spending time with family, and was authentically and whole heartedly there for those in her life.
She leaves to carry the torch; Son, Jason Perkins(Akron) Granddaughter, Dashis Perkins (Akron) Grandsons, Martell Perkins, (Akron),Jase Perkins,(Cleveland), Coryon Rice,(Akron), Sister, Donna Perkins(Akron), Brother, Derrick Perkins(Cali), Cousin, Micheal Starks (Akron) Special friends, Careetha, Darlene, Sandra, Pig, Bernice, Shirley, Michael, Nieces and Nephews; Sherelle, Tamika, Melvina, Melissa, Nina, Mark, Tony, Travaris, Genevus, Tremain, Melvin Jr, Mario, Lisa, Felicia, Dee, Delreece, Tina, Denise, Buck, Danny, Daemon, Jason and a host of many other Nieces and Nephews, in-laws, family, and friends.
