Jack Raymond Butler

Jack Raymond Butler graced the world with his amazing presence on August 9, 1934, to Edward and Dorothey Butler in Norwalk, Ohio. He made his heavenly transition on July 27, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.  He served in the Army until 1955. He moved to Akron, Ohio where he worked at Chrysler Stamping plant retiring in 1998 after working there for 34 years. He married Carolyn Butler(Jones) in 1998. 

He was a devoted father, husband and friend. He was a hard worker, he loved to make people laugh and have fun. He loved cooking, listening to music while keeping his cars together. His children and grandchildren were his world.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothey Butler; daughters Princetta Hodoh, Gaynell Butler and Carmarlice Keen, sisters, Ann Butler; Bertha Whack; Betty Harris, Gertrude Butler, brothers, Herbert Butler; Arthur Butler; Rev. Harold Butler and Edward Butler, grandsons; Raymond Benford, D’Angelo Boyd.

He leaves behind many to cherish his memory, his wife Carolyn Butler(Jones), children; Dorenda, Edward(Gina Stoll) and Shawntya. He leaves behind 23 grand-children and 29 great-grandchildren. He had a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends that he truly loved and cherished. His presence on earth will truly be missed
