Jason Louis Garden
January 6,1980 – January 21, 2025
Jason Louis Garden was born on Sunday January 6, 1980, at Akron City Hospital to Louis and Debra Garden. At the age of 45 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, his final heartbeat came to pass in the same hospital on January 21, 2025, at 3:22 PM. Jason left this earthly world surrounded by his family and friends knowing he was deeply loved and would forever live in our hearts.
Jason graduated from Copley High School, he continued his education by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media Communications from the University of Akron and continued with graduate education at Kent State University. He worked for several corporations including Sams Club, Enterprise Cars, AT&T and Sprint prior to becoming an Intervention Specialist for Copley Fairlawn Schools. Jason decided to follow his entrepreneurial dream by launching his own photography business specializing in weddings and building websites. He was a dedicated businessman who during the battle fought to complete open projects for his clients until the illness no longer allowed.
Jason was a soft spoken, gentle and compassionate man who spread love and positivity everywhere he went. He adored his children and loved spending time with them. During his last days in the hospital, he continued to express his fatherly love asking them “are you OK”, “are you cold ” and telling his parents to “go home, get some rest, get some dinner”.
Jason was saved and baptized IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST. He is proceeded in death by grandparents JB and Lucy Garden, Kaiser and Nannie Gary and several aunts and uncles.
Jason leaves to mourn his passing four children, Jaiden, Rylan, Londyn and Weston, parents Louis and Debra Garden, sister Lisha Gary, nieces Briana Gary and Damara Gary-McCants, great nephew Mateo Gary-McCants, special Uncles and Aunts, Howard and Gloria Garden, Kaiser and Rachel Gary, Daryl and Mary Stephens, Cora Perkins, JB Gordon, Loretta Herring, Patricia Davis and Allen and Jackie Gordon, cousins who were more like brothers Lloyd and Michael Garden, and many other cousins and friends, especially the special friends who spent so much time with him at the hospital.
