Kethel Campbell

Kethel (Kiesha) L. Campbell, age 37, departed this earthly life on December 20, 2023 

Born in Akron, OH on March 6, 1986, she attended Akron Public Schools, graduating from East High School and earned a degree in Medical Assisting at Herzing University. Kiesha was a member of New Mission Missionary Baptist Church.  

Although Kiesha was a proud business owner, shelived her life in service to others. She was delighted to be able to have her mother in her home with her so that she was able to provide her with the care and things she needed and wanted. She was very proud of the family she created with Jermaine, most proud of her children Brandy and Jermaine Jr. Kiesha was also looking forward to the birth of her first granddaughter, Blair. She was a big advocate for the healing of her family and wanted to be the beacon to bring the family together. Kiesha tried to make sure that everyone she loved was taken care of in some form. 

Kiesha is preceded in death by the woman she considered a second mother, Maricia Proctor. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bobby and Bessie Turner and her paternalgrandparents, Ernest Jackson Sr., and Louise Skinner Jackson. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Jermaine Campbell, her parents, Lawrence Jackson and Patricia Turner, her brothers Charles “Chucky” Fennell, Lawrence Edwards, David Edwards, Stephon Edwards, and sisters Jennifer Turner, Denise Edwards, Cierra Turner, Autumn Bais, Brittany Dozier, & Alycia Hopkins. Kiesha is also survived by her children Brandy Proctor and Jermaine Campbell Jr, and her soon-to-born granddaughter, Blair Frazier as well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
