Kyland Sykes

Kyland Lamont Sykes was born in Akron Ohio to Donna Sykes and Michael Lee.  He attended Akron Public Schools.  Like his mother, Kyland was the life of the City and never met a stranger.  Kyland was a very proud father and grandfather.  Kyland never let his circumstances stop him from doing exactly what he wanted to do.  All those who knew him, knew exactly how special he was from the time he was a baby.  He was a very talented, known, up & coming rap artist with an impressive catalog of music. 

 

Kyland was preceded in death by his mother, who he loved and missed dearly, Donna Sykes Evans.  Grandparents Deacon Joe T. & Mary Jeanette Sykes, Great grandmother Susie Breckenridge, Uncle & Aunt Donald and Janice Sommerville and Nephew Kingston Terry.

 

Left to cherish his memories are Father Michael Lee, Grandmother Yvonne Sykes Prater, Daughter Grashanae “GiGi” Emelle Sykes, Grandaughter Amora Unique Spaulding, Brother Leland Sykes, Sisters Chylece Tucker and Danielle Terry, Nephews Chase Tucker, Liam Sykes and Ghami Thompson, Neice Jaleah Henderson, Aunts Hyloka (Otho) Bowe and Jonetta Sykes McClain, Uncle Joe T. (Sally) Sykes Jr, Godparents Delbert & Tyesha Barnett Jr.  Cousin Kayla Sykes, Special Aunt Jackie Chaney, Special friends,  Tia,  P3, Terrance/365, Ivan, Tyrell, Chino, Shoddy, Twan, Mont, Chey Dolla and Face.  A host of Aunts, Uncles, Friends and Cousins (all of 330).
