LaDonnis “Don” Antonino Holly passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 46. Born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Chicago, Illinois and Cleveland, Ohio, Don's infectious personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. From a young age, Don enjoyed music, sports, spending time outdoors with friends and
family, watching films, and styling outfits. After graduating from high school and relocating with his family back to Akron, Ohio, Don earned his commercial driver’s license and embarked on a career as a truck driver, traversing the country and exploring its many states.
To all who knew him, Don was a beacon of warmth and laughter, known for his big stature and even bigger voice. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he found immense joy in their company. Don never missed a family gathering, nor did he forget to call anyone. He adored his children and took pride in being the best father he could be, guiding them with wisdom and love.
A true wandering spirit at heart, Don found solace in enjoying life to the fullest. Whether it was spending time with his beloved dogs, relishing moments with his family, or honoring his skills at the shooting range, he embraced each experience with enthusiasm and a zest for life. He had a knack for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, infusing every gathering with laughter and camaraderie. Don possessed an innate ability to uplift those around him, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence. He was just one phone call away to lend a helping hand or offer sage advice. His genuine concern for others extended beyond words; he was known for his knack for checking in on loved ones, ensuring that no one felt alone in their struggles. In the tapestry of life, Don wove countless threads of love and fun, leaving an indelible
mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to shine brightly through the countless lives he touched.
Forever remembered, forever cherished, Don will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Don is preceded in death by sibling: Michael Curry and leaves to cherish his memory his children: DonYai, Holly, Donyél Holly; special homie: ZjVaughn Cook; parents: Gregory Dixon and Margueritea Holly; other mom: Marilyn Hayward; siblings: Ashleigh Dixon, Gregory Dixon II, Gabriel Dixon, SaBreigha Dixon; Brian Curry, Deon Curry, Desiree Curry; KaTesha Miles, nieces and nephews: Sydnei Dixon, Gregory Dixon III, Greyson Dixon, girlfriend Cassandra Pellish; and a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete! Rest in peace, dear Don. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Ave Akron, Ohio 44306. Visiting hours will be held between 11:00 am- 12:00 p.m. Services will
