Larry Sutton

Larry Neal Sutton, also known as Spoonie G, received his wings on Friday,
September 22, 2023. He was born to Tommie Sutton and Sylvania Aldridge in
Dade County, South Miami, FL on January 17, 1956.
Larry Neal Sutton attended John R. Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio where he
played trumpet for a short time and became one of three Drum Majors.
Larry was loud and never lost his country twang but you could understand
everything he said. Larry was a very kind, fun-loving person who opened his doors
to many and will be sorely missed. He really loved his family and all his friends
even through the fussing and the cussing. We can hear him now saying, “Look at
you lookin’ like yourself”. He loved roller skating and music with his all-time
favorite song being, “Keep Your Head to the Sky” by Earth, Wind and Fire.
Larry Neal Sutton entered the U.S. Marine Corp on March 4, 1975, where he was
stationed in San Francisco, CA. He was honorably discharged on July 01, 1976, as
a Stock Clerk. In his tenor, he received “The Good Conduct Medal” and was
honored with the “Rifle Marksman Badge”.
Larry fell in love with Yolanda Bronner and from this union was born Larry Neil
Sutton aka Teaspoon.

Tommie Sutton, Father; Sylvania Aldridge-Amaker, Mother; Tom Henry and Ella
Mae Sutton, Grandparents.

Carolyn (Isaac) Murray, Buena Vista, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Wilkinson Funeral Home to grieve, support
each other and share our memories of Larry Neal Sutton.
