In Loving Memory of Latonya "Teeny" Lynn Horn

(November 3, 1984-January 3, 2024)

Latonya Lynn Horn, affectionately known as "Teeny," peacefully entered eternal rest on January 3, 2024. A devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Latonya touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter.

Latonya graduated from Buchtel High School in 2003. Following her high school graduation, she continued her education at the University of Akron, where she became a proud member of The University of Akron Gospel Choir, showcasing her love for music and her faith.

She dedicated over 15 years of her life as an insurance adjuster, showcasing her commitment and expertise in her profession. Latonya's greatest accomplishment was being a loving mother to her nine-year-old son, Maison. Her deep love for Maison brought immense joy into her life. Latonya's legacy extends beyond her personal and professional achievements; it is woven into the beautiful tapestry of the love she shared with her son.

Beyond her career and motherhood, Latonya was a woman of deep faith and love, embodying these values in all aspects of her life. She brought humor to every room she entered, and her warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Latonya had a passion for shopping and a great sense of fashion. 

Latonya leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. As we remember her, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the positive impact she made on those around her.

Latonya is preceded in death by her mother Bonnie L. Horn. She is survived by her son Maison Lykes, father Anthony Horn, and her siblings Jonathan (Tiffany) Hood, Deon Horn, Kristal Horn, Krishawna (Donnell) Mersier, Anthony (Lina) Horn, Chirstopher (Shiela) Horn, LaToya Phinzee, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

A service to honor Latonya "Teeny" Lynn Horn will be held on January 13, 2024 at The Light Church  ,980 Rhodes Avenue Akron, Ohio 44307.
