Leah Leown Mckinney

Leah McKinney was born to the late Willie and Gwendolyn McKinney on July 13,1963 in Akron Ohio. She was one of 5 siblings. Leah departed this life quietly in her sleep on July 22, 2024.

Leah was raised and educated in the Cleveland area graduating from Warrensville Heights High school. 

Leah was a retired quality control specialist where she worked for many years at Seal Master Corporation in Kent Ohio.

A believer in Jesus Christ Leah was a proud and faithful member of City of Joy Life Enrichment center where she assisted with the sick and shut in ministry and served with the mature saints ministry.

Leah affectionately known as “MeeMee”, “Momma Leah” or “Ms Leah” had a heart for people and created special bonds with many. She loved spending time with her family, playing games and celebrating the holidays, live music and movies.

Leah was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Dwight Sr, Donald Sr, and Terry. The Lord called her loving and vibrant soul home on July 22,2024.

Leah leaves her legacy of love and life to: Partner and father to her children Lineil Massey, daughter Arielle McKinney, son Damarquis McKinney, brother Andre McKinney and grandsons Adonis and Gabrial.

Also to cherish her memories is her City of Joy family, and a host of cousins , nieces, nephews and friends.
