Matricia Armstead

Matricia Denise Armstead took her final step on the stairway to heaven December 30, 2021, in Akron, Ohio. She was born March 2, 1969, attended Richmond Community Schools. She lived in Richmond Indiana until her early adult life, moved to Akron, Ohio until her untimely death.

She was an avid music lover, loved to dance, and had a sense of humor. She liked sports, played softball; Kansas City Chief and Pittsburgh Steelers fan; Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers fan, (Lebron James). She was most recently employed by Fairline Nursing Home, SMP Special Pack and works as a warehouse laborer. Formerly at Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and Crew member at McDonalds.

She leaves to mourn her passing: Sons Marcus (Amanda) Armstead, Richmond IN; Tramall Armstead, Muncie IN; Daughter Martika Armstead, Richmond, IN.; Grandchildren Jayleigh Moore, Julian D. Armstead, Jordyn Moore, and Javeah Armstead; Sisters: Michele Durham (Darryl) Indianapolis, IN, Jonelle Armstead, Richmond IN, Brother Julian H. Armstead Richmond IN. Adopted Parents: Ronnie and Shelia Armstead, Richmond, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Biological Parents, Marcia K. Lewis, Jimmy Craig, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, uncles, and aunts. She, also, leaves to mourn a Special Friend Darren Ivey, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
