Nina Louise Clark

Nina L. Clark (Johnson), 54 was born in Akron, Ohio April 18, 1969, to parents William M. Johnson (Peoples). Our beloved daughter and niece passed from this earthly life to her home of eternal rest, May 4, 2023, after an extended illness.

Nina lived her formative years in Marion, Ohio with her family, relocating to Akron, Ohio in 1993 after the passing of her father.

Nina committed her life to the Lord, who she served faithfully being a member of Zion Pentecostal until her health declined. Nina will always be remembered for her infectious smile, gentle spirit and love for her family.

Nina formerly worked as a hospital aide after receiving her associate degree in the medical field. Later, she would acquire her license in ministry where she spread the Gospel of the Lord daily.

Preceded in death by her father, William M. Johnson; brother, William M. Johnson II (Billy); maternal grandparents, Clinton Sr. and Emma Peoples; paternal grandparents, Herman and Evelyn Johnson; uncles, Clinton jr., Edward (Jeep) and Gary Peoples (Tootie).

Nina leaves to cherish her loving memory, loving mother, Betty L. Johnson of Akron, Ohio; loving uncles, Griffin and Donald Peoples; loving aunts, Yvonne Anderson of Dalton Illinois, Josephine Peoples of Akron, Ohio, and a host of cousins.
