Robert C. Howard Sr., 75 passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023. He was born in Centerville, Alabama and moved to Akron, Ohio in 1962.

Robert graduated from Buchtel High School and worked at Magic City Paving and Prinz Office Supplies as a truck driver for many years.

Robert enjoyed baseball, playing cards, hand dancing and singing to the Tempation's music. He will be fondly remembered for his catchphrase "Who loves ya baby?"

Robert was preceded in death by wives Brenda Fitzpatrick-Howard and Carolyn Howard; parents, Ella Mae and John Thomas Howard; sisters: Betty Adams, Rilla Megginson, Bessie Jennings; brothers: Marvin, William Truman and Leonard Boyd, Henry Smiley, and Curtis Howard.

Robert is survived by sister Mattie Cooke; brother Willie (Sharon) Howard; daughter Lisa Brown; sons: Robert (Sonia) Howard Jr., LaMark Shavers, Terrence (Tamica) Shavers; stepdaughter Latika Isom and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private memorial service for the family will be held to grieve, support each other and share our memories of Robert at a later date.

The family would like to give special thanks to stepdaughter Latika Isom for all the loving care that she provided for Robert over the years, as well as the staff at Summa Hospice Care.
