Sandra “Sandy” Chance, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2024, at the age of 52, in her hometown of Akron, Oh. Born on January 15, 1972, Sandy was known for her friendly nature and generous spirit.
A proud graduate of Coventry High School, Sandy went on to lead a life full of warmth and genuine care for others.
Sandy’s life was a testament to the love she had for her family. She was a cherished daughter to her mother, Eileen Gunsett, and a beloved niece to her uncle, Dennis McKenzie. Her siblings- Theresa, Paul, Frank (and his wife Melissa), Lisa, and Pam along with her youngest sister Nicole, will forever hold her memory dear to their hearts. Sandy took immense joy in her role as an aunt to her twelve nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind 4 great nephews.
While the cause of her passing remains unknown, what is certain is the indelible mark Sandy left on the hearts of those she encountered. Her legacy of kindness and warmth will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
As her family and friends bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, they will gather to share stories, laughter, and the many happy memories that Sandy gifted them throughout her lifetime. Her light will never fade from the lives she brightened, and her spirit will remain an inspiration to all those she held dear.
She can now Rest in Heaven alongside her grandma and Grandpa (Agnes and John), her dad (Paul Sr), and her Niece (Halex)
