Tyrique Shields

Tyrique Lee Shields born January 30 th , 1997, in Akron, Ohio to Monica Shields-Cole and loving fathers Sylvester “Silk” Johnson and Sean Tanner, passed suddenly January 15 th , 2022.

He attended Perkins Middle School Akron, Ohio and Joppatown High School in Abington, Maryland.

Tyrique had a heart of gold. He loved his family and friends very much. His smile was infectious, and his laughter was larger than life

Tyrique Lee Shields was preceded in death by his grandmother Sandra Johnson, great-grandmother June, “Nanny” Fox and special cousin, Auntie Netta.

To cherish his memory, he leaves children Malani Shields and Stepson Carter “Shields” Sampson. Mother Monica Cole, fathers Sylvester “Silk” Johnson and Sean Tanner.
