Walter Wilson

Walter L. Wilson was born on September 29, 1945, in Ripley Tennessee to the union of Sam Wilson and Artie Ree Nelson. Walter departed this life on February 26, 2023.

Walter later moved with his family to Kent, Ohio where he graduated from Kent High School. 

Walter L. Wilson married his high school sweetheart MaryAnn Wilson in the late 60’s.

Walter enjoyed being a Truck Driver for many years and telling the stories of his travels. 

Walter loved looking good, and being fashionable. Walter enjoyed getting together with friends, family, cooking and listening to music. 

Walter is preceded in death by his parents: Sam Wilson and Artie Ree Nelson, Brother: Samuel Lee Wilson, and Son: Dru Fullum. Also his first wife and best friend MaryAnn Wilson-Maxwell.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister Barbara (Bobby) McKinney, his 3 daughters Lisa (Napoleon) Ellis, Susie Fullum, and Tiffany Wilson. His son Rafeal Wilson and his Honorary Daughter Loreal Miller. Grandchildren: Joshua Ellie, Justin Ellie, Spenser Edwards, Andre Willis Jr., Maleeya Right, Trevon Bennett, Ayshia Bennett, A’Niyah Bennett, Malcum Wilson, and Lauren Hill. 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
